Linguistic testing

Our translators and reviewers do everything they can to get things right from the start. Unfortunately, they often have to work without actually seeing the software or product they are working on. Without context, many phrases and sentences can easily be misinterpreted.

To further complicate matters, software engineers often aren't aware of localization requirements. They may forget to send out some files that need localization, combine text segments or variables that can't be combined in the same order in some languages, or reuse text that requires different translations depending on the context.

The result? Translations that are incorrect in context, text that doesn't fit on buttons, messages that run off the screen, and all sorts of truncations and overlaps.

Sound like a big mess? It could be. But our linguistic testing process will take care of all that. We have testers with sharp eyes, specialized in spotting and resolving any remaining issues.
